New Features of the Toyota Alphard & Vellfire 2023

Toyota Vellfire and Alphard (2023) with NA, Turbo, and Hybrid Engines Debut in Japan!

In Japan, sales of the third-generation Toyota Alphard (2023) and the fourth-generation Toyota Vellfire (2023) began simultaneously. Since their release in 2015, the Toyota Alphard and Toyota Vellfire appear to have been challenged by the introduction of other sophisticated models with cutting-edge powertrain technology. Previously, Alphard and Vellfire faced competition from the Japanese brand itself; however, the two models now face competition from Chinese multipurpose vehicles (MPV).

Toyota, a seasoned manufacturer, paved the way for the second generation Lexus LM by expanding its European offerings. Since then, the market has continued to await the introduction of Alphard and Vellfire. The new Alphard and Vellfire will continue to captivate users in addition to their well-established reputation, as evidenced by a number of shared images. Alphard and Vellfire, like the LM and Sienna (USA), use the TNGA-K platform.

NEW PLATFORM - TNGA-K (FOCUSES ON ASPECTS OF RIGIDITY &  DRIVE)

Using a straight bar (rocker) and a V-shaped bracket at the bottom of the rear, the TNGA-K platform is optimized for minivan use (official term) and increases rigidity by 50 percent compared to the third generation model. In addition, Toyota optimized structural adhesives by employing strong buffering adhesives on the passenger's legs and high-rigidity adhesives in areas susceptible to twisting at the vehicle's rear.

Thus, the body's inconsistencies are mitigated in order to achieve superior and more stable driving performance. Contradictory personality is a common issue for vans of this size, so it's positive that Toyota has recognized this.

Both variants are equipped with a MacPherson suspension exclusive to TNGA and an upgraded double wishbone rear suspension.

Certain variants, including Alphard Executive Lounge, Vellfire Executive Lounge, and Z Premier, feature absorbers that can mechanically adjust the damping force based on the amount of road surface vibration. The suspension system also accommodates minor road vibration disturbances.

Passengers in the second row experience less vibration due to the use of rubber bearings on the cushion frame's connection point and memory foam (standard for Executive Lounge) on the backrest and armrests. Additionally, efforts are made to reduce road and wind pollution. Among these are low-noise tyres, additional sound-dampening material on the front panel of the large mirror (kowl), and optimizing the wind-exposed engine cover, side reflectors, and A-pillar. The use of a Front Performance Bracket that connects the radiator bone and the side support (side member) to improve rigidity and provide outstanding response when accelerating from a stop makes Vellfire more unique despite the modification.

MORE SPACIOUS, PRACTICAL
