  • Creating Car Owner Account

    1. Select CAR OWNER at the dropdown of Login / Register
    2. Click the Register Now link or click the Click Here button at the Register Now box
    3. Fill up you Name, Email and Password

    After registration, you will received email from us to verify your email. Click the link on the email, and your registration is done. Go back to Step 1 and login with your email and password.

  • Creating Car Dealer Account

    1. Select DEALER/AGENT at the dropdown of Login / Register
    2. Click the Register Now link or click the Click Here button at the Register Now box
    3. Dealer registration required approval, please fill up all required fields included upload of IC, Namecard, Company Registration Certificate.

    After registration, you will received an email from us to verify your email. Click the link on the email to verify your email. You need to wait an approval email from us then your registration is done. Go back to Step 1 and login with your email and password.

  • Forgot Password

    1. From the Login page, click on Forget Password.
    2. Submit your email address, you will received an email with a link for you to reset your password.

  • Changing Your Email

    1. You can request to change your email by drop an email at pilihcar1314@gmail.com. Your request will be processed within 24 hours.

  • Deactivating / Deleting Your Account

    1. To deactivate your account, submit your request on this form. Your request will be processed within 24 hours.

  • How Do I Search For Cars?

    1. Buy menu

      Searching for a car by using Buy menu on top. You need to at least select one of the critiria from Condition, Brands and Body Type, or select two or three of them and then click Go button.

  • I Found A Car I Like. What Do I Do Now?

    You can contact the seller by clicking on the button ‘WhatsApp’ 'Phone' 'Email' on the right of the car detail page.

    Once you have made an appointment with the seller, you can request to view and test drive the car.

    If you are in mobile device, you can directly WhatsApp and Call the seller.

  • Car Buying Tips

    Here are some of our suggestions to ensure you drive home a satisfactory car:

    • Test drive the car along with your trustworthy mechanic;
    • Request for the car's service booklet or records and have the car checked by a trusted mechanic;
    • A reputable dealer should allow you to bring along your preferred mechanic to examine the car at its premises; and
    • Send the car to PUSPAKOM for a thorough inspection

  • Information On Car Loans & Car Purchases

    Car Purchases

    For new car purchases, the car dealer usually handles all the documentation, manages it, and processes it on your behalf.

    For used cars, car owners are by regulation required to send their vehicle to PUSPAKOM for a thorough inspection before selling it.

    The buyer must be present at the bank to apply for a loan after the car has been approved by PUSPAKOM. They must also bring the registration document for the vehicle.

    Prepare the forms required for the ownership of the vehicle to be transferred. The forms are available for download on the JPJ website. JPJK3, TM-1, and TM-AB forms, as well as copies of the buyer's and seller's identification cards, are required.

    Visit JPJ and turn in all the necessary paperwork, along with a copy of the new buyer's insurance cover note and the original car registration card.

    Before you can pick up your name-transferred car registration card, there is a processing time period during which the transfer of ownership must be completed.

    With a new vehicle purchase from one of their dealerships, some auto dealers might accept trade-ins. To offset the cost of your desired car, you should discuss this option with your dealer.

     
    Car Loan (Hire Purchase)

    As long as the requirements listed below are met, anyone is qualified to apply for a car loan:

    • You can apply if you are over 21 years old,
    • have a passport or NRIC that is current, and
    • can provide proof of at least three months' worth of income.

    Note: To apply for a hire purchase loan, applicants do not need a driving licence.

    In most cases, a 10% deposit is needed, unless you work in the government sector or are an undergraduate.

    Depending on the bank's approval, the approved loan amount could reach 90%.

    Interest rates may change based on the terms of the loan, including the loan's tenure, its size, and any other factors that may be taken into account and governed by the bank.

    The following document is required to apply for a hire purchase loan:

     

    Personal

    • A copy of valid identification (NRIC: front & back or Passport);
    • A copy of driver's license front & back (should you be the owner of the vehicle); and
    • A copy of proof of a minimum of three months of income

     

    Company

    • A copy of valid identification (NRIC: front & back or Passport);
    • A copy of driver's license front & back;
    • A copy of proof of income; and
    • A copy of business registration (BR)

     

    Guarantor (if applicable)

    • A copy of valid identification (NRIC: front & back or passport); and
    • A copy of proof of a minimum of three months of income

     

    Note: Should the bank determine that the submitted documents are insufficient, additional identification or income proof may be required.

    If the applicant is blacklisted by any financial institution, it is advisable to check with the financial institution on the procedures for applying for a loan.

  • Car Owner

    1. Login to your Car Owner account
    2. On the dashboard, click 'Choose a Listing Package' button.
    3. Select your desire plan.
    4. Fill up your car particular.
    5. Once done, click Submit
    6. Submitted car listing will be pending for admin approval. Once approved, car listing will be posted immediately.

  • Car Dealer

    1. Login to your Dealer/Agent account
    2. On the dashboard, go to Car Listings box and click 'Add Listing' button
    3. Fill up your car particular.
    4. Once done, you have option to 'Save For Later' or 'Publish and Deduct My Credit'. The system also show you how much credit you need for the Ad to publish.
    5. Submitted car listing will be pending for admin approval. Once approved, car listing will be posted immediately.

Safety Tips

Posting an ad on PilihCAR must follow our rules:

  1. Make sure you post in the correct category.
  2. Do not upload pictures with watermarks.
  3. Do not post ads containing multiple items unless it's a package deal.
  4. Do not put your email or phone numbers in the title or description.
  5. Do not post the same ad more than once or repost an ad within 48 hours.
