BYD Dolphin (EV SERIES)
BYD Dolphin EV launch in Malaysia. The funky looking hatchback will be priced from RM99,900 for Dynamic Standard range and goes up to RM124,900 for the premium extender range (OTR without insurance) which make DOLPHIN the second cheapest EV cars to buy in Malaysia after the Neta V goes for RM99,800 but for specification and equipment wise, the DOLPHIN will definitely swim off his rival.

Back in September, Sime Darby Motors and BYD partnered to usher in a new era for Malaysia's EV future. Accordingly, the Chinese manufacturer this weekend held a major launch ceremony at Bandar Malaysia in KL to introduce the Atto 3, the nation's first EV. The preview of the two future BYD models at the same event also surprises the attendees.
The BYD Seal and BYD Dolphin are the electric vehicles that have been previewed; the former is a fastback electric sedan, while the latter is an EV hatchback. Here, we'll examine the newly launched BYD Dolphin in more detail.
There’re 2 variants to offer in our Malaysian market, Dynamic
Standard range and Premium Extender range. The Premium will come in 3 colours
and all of it will be finished with dual tone while the Standard will be in a
single colour tone and only 2 colours available for the Dynamic Standard.
The Premium will be occupied with 17-inch wheels and the
standard will sit on 16-inch rims. Regardless which specification you pick,
both of them will come in full LED lighting exterior and the interior. The
front of the car will have the BYD signature LED light on the grill where you
can tell it is a BYD car from afar and the backlight has a very wavy
design.
Inside specification, you will get a dual tone interior combination depending on which exterior color you choose from. Both standard and premium will get a 5-inch instrument display as well as the 12.8-inch rotating infotainment display wired with Apple CarPlay support. However, the top range will get additional panoramic glass roof and ventilated front seats.
